Abstract :

Embedded random matrix ensembles for finite quantum many-particle systems with various Lie algebraic symmetries generate a region of thermalization with level and strength fluctuations following the results of classical random matrix ensembles. In this region, embedded ensemble theory for the bivariate transition strength distributions and their applications will be described in the talk.
