About the symposium
Founded in 1959, the Department of Physics at IIT Madras is today one of the largest and most active physics departments in the country, with 56 faculty members working across traditional and emerging areas of the discipline. The department contributes to nearly a dozen Centres of Excellence at the Institute, alongside undergraduate, master's, interdisciplinary dual-degree, and doctoral programmes that together train close to 200 research scholars.
The event of the year is finally here!
Everyone is invited to attend the scientific sessions and registration is not required for the same.
