Majorana Zero Modes And Bulk-Boundary Correspondence At Quantum Criticality

ABSTRACT :

Majorana zero modes are well studied in the gapped phases of topological systems. In this work we investigate Majorana zero modes at the topological quantum criticality in one dimensional topological superconducting model with longer range interaction. We characterize criticality based on the number of zero modes present on them. As a result of characterization, we observe an unusual topological phase transition on the critical line.
