Superconducting Proximity In 3D Dirac Systems

ABSTRACT :

When a BCS superconductor is proximitized with a Dirac supercondutor, in addition to inducing BCS superconductivity, 16 possible forms of novel superconductivity can be induced into the 3D Dirac material including the pseudo-scalar superconductivity. We show that the pseudo-scalar superconductivity has a non-trivial topology and discuss its experimental consequences.
