Sanjay C.P. -- Research Scholar (Jan/2017 - Jan/2021) Post Doctoral Fellow at ICTS Bengaluru (May/2021 - ) I work in the field of turbulence observed in active fluids. Coarse-grained dynamics of active particles, which is a low Reynold's number system show strong features of turbulence. This new class of turbulence is poorly understood and I am very much interested in studying these systems closely.

Ankan Biswas -- Research Scholar (January/2025 - ) My research focuses on computational fluid dynamics, particularly the study of turbulence using Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) with pseudo-spectral methods. A key aspect of my work is on the mixing of tracer particles in turbulent flows, I also study the stretching of material lines, vortex dynamics, the statistical properties of turbulence, and their role in characterizing flow structures. |
