  1. An introduction to Conformal Field Theory -- this was a talk I gave at the Workshop on Low dimensional field theories at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences during Feb. 8-13, 1993. The talk was aimed at condensed matter theorists who made up the audience.
  2. A talk titled Supersymmetry as a probe of the topology of manifolds presented at the First Kumar L.A. Meera Memorial Meeting on Frontiers in Physics held at Mysore during February 8-14, 1996. This was written up for a proceedings which never appeared. I think students might find this useful.
  3. My seminar titled Linear sigma models for D-branes given at CERN during the summer of 2001.
  4. My talk titled Summing up open-string instantons at the Workshop on Geometric Transitions at the Caltech-USC Center for Theoretical Physics during January 2002.
  5. My talk titled Orientifolds of type IIA strings on Calabi-Yau manifolds at PASCOS 2003, Mumbai, India.
  6. Review talk on D-branes on Calabi-Yau Manifolds at the Second Regional meeting on String Theory, Crete, Greece during June 2003
  7. A 20 minute talk titled Through the Looking glass given to an audience consisting mostly of experimentalists as a part of my promotion interview during December 2003. I hope you will forgive me for a wee-bit of self-promotion.
  8. My review talk titled Derived Categories - I (The McKay Correspondence) at THEP-I , at IIT Roorkee, India during March 16-20, 2005. The second part was given by Koushik Ray of IACS, Kolkata who covered the mathematical aspects. Caution: The pdf file is 1.4MB
  9. My talk titled Spacetime superpotentials from LG models at the Indian Strings Meeting, ISM06 Puri, India during December 2006. Earlier versions of this talk were also given at ASICTP, Trieste, Italy and U. of Neuchatel, Neuchatel, Switzerland.
