The current theory of particle interactions, the Standard Model (SM), has been phenomenally successful in describing the majority of experimental data, despite having several drawbacks: it does not explain dark matter, non-zero neutrino mass, the stability of Higgs boson mass etc. A type of spacetime symmetry, supersymmetry (SUSY) is a possible candidate for undiscovered particle physics and seen as an elegant solution to many current problems in SM. We present analysis strategies of a search for SUSY in multi-lepton final states using proton-proton collision data collected by CMS at a center of mass energy of 13 TeV. As such, searches for new sources of high lepton multiplicity events represent a difficult, but critical component to decipher the mysteries surrounding dark matter, Higgs boson etc. The analysis is targeted for next year with all the 13 TeV data taken in last 3 years of CMS.​
