There has been a lot of progress in recent years on measuring bulk thermodynamic properties of strong interactions described by Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) from Lattice. I will discuss how Lattice results are giving us key insights on QCD phase diagram at finite temperature and baryon density. The technqiues have now progressed beyond addressing bulk thermodynamic quantities to give us new insights on even the microscopic degrees of freedom in different phases of QCD. I will discuss some instances like the studies of fluctuations, screening masses and the eigenvalue spectrum of the Dirac operator.
