Development Of Surface Plasmon Resonance Instrument With A Novel Opto-Mechanical Scanning Mechanism
2018-04-16 Dr. Devanarayanan.V.P
ABSTRACT :
Surface Plasmon resonance sensors are a class of label free sensors for the detection of biochemical constituents. Generally, such sensors work in Kretschmann- Reather optical configuration. The scanning mechanism in such sensors decides the sensitivity of the sensor. We have proposed and experimentally proved a novel scanning mechanism involving feedback mechanism for the improvement of the sensitivity of the sensor. The sensitivity of the sensor for sucrose solution is 52.6o/RIU.
