While the outcome of the Light-matter interaction depends greatly on the strength, polarization, and transverse field profiles of the input light, it also depends on the symmetry, material properties, and dimensions of the interacting matter. In the talk, we would discuss our results on the interaction of intense light beams with exotic spatial structures inside a nonlinear crystal. We would also discuss the results on the interaction of light beams with two-dimensional array of chiral-nanostructures.
