  • Prof. Ravichandran Shivanna

Dr Ravichandran Shivanna is assistant professor in the Department of Physics, IIT Madras. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics (Materials science) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore, in 2015 under the supervision of Prof K S Narayan. After his Ph.D., he got the Newton International Fellowship from The Royal society London, to work with Prof Sir Richard Friend at Cavendish Laboratory, Univers ity of Cambridge, United Kingdom. He then continued as UKRI-research associate at Cambridge University under an INDO-UK solar energy project till 2022. His research includes the physics of optoelectronic devices featuring solution-processable metal-halide perovskite semiconductor, polymer semiconductor etc.
