Criteria for initial shortlisting for Jan-May 2024 |
1. Valid GATE score (issued either in 2021 or 2022 or 2023) as per the category.
2. Valid NET (CSIR-JRF/ UGC–JRF only)
3. Valid JEST (Qualified in 2023 only)
4. Valid provisional offer letter issued by DST for the award of INSPIRE fellowship for PhD programme
5. CFTI candidates who have completed M.Sc., integrated M.Sc., Dual degree B.S - M.S., B. Tech., with CGPA 8.0 and above.
6. M.Tech. from CFTIs with CGPA 8.0 and above.
7. M.Sc. from IIT Madras with CGPA 8.0 and above.

Selection Procedure |
The selection process will start soon after the deadline and it will involve three stages. First, the applicants will be shortlisted based on their performance in GATE/JEST/NET or on their CGPA (if graduated through CFTI). The shortlisted applicants will be required to take a written test, which will be conducted ONLINE. Based on the performance in the written test, the students will be further shortlisted for attending the ONLINE interviews. The final selection of the students will be based on their performance in the written test and interview. |
